ABOUT ROUND-THE-WORLD EXPEDITION
For six months, a family of three with a toddler completed a true circumnavigation of the globe by land and sea while living full-time inside the Orbita van.
They traveled over 25,000 miles across three continents, not as tourists moving between destinations, but as a family living independently inside a fully autonomous adventure van.
The expedition began in May 2025 in Ventura, California, and concluded in late November 2025, completing a full global loop. From California, the route continued east through Europe and Asia to China. The journey came full circle when Orbita was shipped back across the Pacific Ocean to California.

Even the toilet is smart: the ventilation system turns on automatically the moment you slide open the toilet drawer.
