Questions About Features
Can I run the air conditioner without hookups?
Yes. The 12V air conditioner runs from the van’s own battery bank, with no generator and no campground power. Our brochures quote up to 30 hours of continuous cooling from the batteries.
Can I use the van in winter?
Yes. Hydronic heating warms the cabin, the floors and the water, and the winterized water system keeps tanks and plumbing from freezing. The design was tested through freezing nights in Siberia and Mongolia.
How long can I stay off-grid?
Several days and often longer. Lithium batteries up to 1380Ah, 600W of solar, alternator charging while you drive, a 35-gallon fresh water tank and a water-saving shower all work together.
What kind of toilet is it?
A Tiny by Separett waterless toilet on a sliding shelf, so it stays out of the shower when you don’t need it. Laveo, Cleasana and other toilets are available as upgrades.
Is Starlink included?
Yes, Starlink installation is included, so you can work, video call and stream far from cell coverage.
Which features depend on the model?
