From California Dreams to European Roads: Tiny Planet Expedition Digest

It's been 1.5 months since we hit the road and began living our biggest dream yet: a Round-The-World journey aboard Orbita Van, our custom-built expedition Mercedes Sprinter. Today we’re thrilled to share how the first leg of our epic adventure unfolded, from sunny California to the shores of the UK!
West to East: A Wild Ride Across America
We kicked off our journey at the Adventure Van Expo in Ventura, California. After years of designing and building vans for others, it was surreal, and exciting, to finally be stepping into our family van for a full-time global adventure. Our toddler Amelia joined us, instantly adapting to the thrill of life on wheels.
Crossing the U.S. from coast to coast gave us a powerful sense of freedom: endless roads, changing landscapes, and every sunrise promising something new.

Moab, Utah: Where Earth Turns Red
One place captured our hearts more than any other: Moab, Utah. Imagine endless trails cutting through striking, rust-colored canyons, perfect for hiking, biking, and pushing Orbita Van to his off-road limits.

Lights, Cameras, Times Square!
Arriving in New York City, we didn’t just pass through - we made a memorable stop. Our Tiny Planet video appeared on the massive screens of Times Square, creating an unforgettable moment for us as a family and as van-life entrepreneurs. You can see this epic moment right here in our Instagram Reel.
Orbita Van Crosses the Atlantic (and we head to Italy)

While Orbita Van sailed across the Atlantic, we took a delightful detour - three weeks exploring Italy’s sun-kissed coast and wandering the historic streets of Rome. Pasta, espresso, and ancient history were just what we needed to recharge.
Reunited in Liverpool
Finally, Orbita Van arrived safely in Liverpool, welcoming us with true British charm: rain, wind, and all! Now we’re off to discover the winding roads, lush countryside, and hidden gems of Great Britain.
